Nearly-New Year

'tis the dawn of a New Year! I'm shacked up in the countryside with a cold, so no party for me tonight! Don't feel too sorry for me though; my New Year's Eves have tended to range from underwhelming to disastrous for as long as I can remember, so 'missing out' doesn't really feel like I am.

What were your best Christmas presents? Mine have to be a Polaroid camera from my Dad, some House of Holland tights from my little sister (she always picks out the best gifts!), and The Hills DVDs from my boy... very thoughtful since I know he hates it, but I think he knows it is one of the only things that shuts me up.
